Catering after mother's funeral on 26th July. Plenty of food both hot and cold. Great value and a separate room supplied. Everybody complimented the food and we were very pleased with the service provided. Thank you.

I've had 2 two night stays at the Dukeries Lodge. Each has been a wonderful experience, and, have been well looked after by Wendy. Being disabled, helped me with my case. Also, sorting another 2 pillows was done with a smile. An ideal location for when I'm visiting friends who live in the area. The rooms are relaxing. If you're looking to explore the history of Robin Hood and Sherwood, then without any hesitation, I recommend you allow Wendy and Maurice to look after you. And, you will be staying in a place with a lot of history as well!! Thank you to you both, and, will certainly be returning when I next plan to visit friends!

Great food and warm and friendly welcome also no need to explain when asking for beer to be poured flat. Recommended!

I took my mum for her birthday meal. There were four of us and we went on Thursday which is steak night. Two of us had two courses and two of us had all three and for that, including drinks and a bottle of wine, it came to a grand total of £68! The steaks were beautifully cooked, the starters were fabulous (and very generous!) and the Sicilian lemon cheesecake was fantastic - although nothing like the picture, not that it mattered after I tasted it. Overall, I can thoroughly recommend

We stayed at The Dukeries for our wedding night. We got to the hotel at 10:45pm and the staff were so helpful. We stayed In the Maid Marion Suite and the room was lovely with a nice comfy bed, a lovely on-suite and a beautiful view. When we went for breakfast we were met with a smile and the breakfast was beautiful and very big! We are returning for our 1 year Anniversary next year!

This was a great building, perfect location for our trip to the day spa at the nearby Center Parcs, and also the Sherwood forest attractions nearby. The price was excellent for a double room and a great full english breakfast included.
The room was as good as any equivalent franchise hotel, such as Travelodge or Premier Inn and had a much more personal feel. Because it was part of a pub, it meant that we didn't have to go far for food and drink, which was great value. The food was gorgeous and the all reasonably priced - better than if you went to a "normal" hotel bar/restaurant.

Yes it is on a main road but not that busy when we visited. interesting building.
